It gives me the perfect pattern for swamp hunting wood ducks :D

That is a gpod looking 410 pattern. I've been looking at that 410viper g2, there are 16 of them at my local cabelas.

I have both the 20 & 410 gauge in camo that I hunt with using TSS. I tend to shoot better with the 20 gauge over decoys, but better with the 410 in the swamps where it's more of a "snap shot". Shooting the lighter 410 does take some getting used to ;) Also, it can be a bit painfull on freezing mornings trying to load shells in the narrow magazine with my fat fingers

Have you experienced any feeding or cycling issues with your .410, factory, TSS rolled, or crimped reloads? I am also looking at picking up one, but have read about issues with that gun and certain ammo not feeding/cycling reliably. For now, I shoot OU’s in .410, but I am looking to pick up some pumps and semi-autos.

Thanks
-Doug

I've not had any feeding/cycling issues with my roll crimped 3" 410 loads in the Viper G2 ;)

I will point out that I had to shorten the magazine plug about 1/4" to get two 3" shells to fit comfortably.

I picked up the Tristar Semi auto in .410 and 28. I’m still waiting on the 28gauge to be delivered. I shot only a few 3” .410 rounds at the sporting clays course the other day. They all cycled well and the gun launched the empty Hulls with authority. I’ve been trying out some different options to smooth over and round off even more so, fold crimp .410 reloads. I measure them with calipers as well. When the weather is a bit better, I’ll try some of my reloads through it. I also was able to pick up some extended tubes from Midway, Carlson Cylinder and Mod. I have Comp N Choke extended in IC and Mod for the .410 OU.
