First Turkey of 2020 With Handloaded TSS #9 Shells

Postby fnsup » Tue Apr 14, 2020 12:17 am

4 April, South Carolina (21 lbs, 1-1/8" spurs, 9 3/4" beard). First turkey with my TSS #9 handloaded shells. The shot pattern took out most of his beard, but the portion that was left was still measurable. He had a really nice rope to begin with. That's how it goes sometimes!

Congratulations!

Killing him with a shell you loaded yourself adds an additional dimension of satisfaction. Way to go!

Thanks Hal! Indeed it does. It's a really awesome feeling! Thank you for your help in getting me up and going with hand-loading my own TSS shells!
